Meet the Owner

Christian Johnson (a.k.a. Chrissy Rae)

Christian is a dance studio owner, Ph.D. student in communication, and professor at UTSA. She is passionate about dance, communication, and education and loves to share her love of all three with others. She is also an avid yogi, runner, and swimmer.

She began dancing at a young age and quickly fell in love with the art form. She went on to dance in college, and after graduating, she opened her dance studio. She teaches various dance classes, including ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and tap. She also choreographs dances for her students to perform in competitions and recitals.

In addition to teaching dance, Christian is also a Ph.D. student in communication at Liberty University. Her research interests include the intersection of dance and communication, and she is currently working on a project that explores how dance can be used to promote social change. She hopes to use her research to help other dancers and communication professionals use their skills to make a difference in the world.

Christian is also a Lecturer at UTSA. She teaches courses on communication theory, communication research methods, and communication pedagogy. She loves sharing her knowledge of communication with her students, and she is passionate about helping them become well-rounded communicators.

She enjoys practicing yoga, running, and swimming in her free time. She finds these activities to be a great way to relax and de-stress. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Christian is a talented dancer, communicator, and educator. She is passionate about her work and committed to making a difference in the world through dance, communication, and education.

Christian Johnson started dancing at two years old. Dancing has always been a passion for her. 

Christian competitively danced from the ages of seven through high school. She was the Colonel of the Dollies at Madison High School for two years. After high school, she danced collegiately with the MCC dance company in Waco, Tx. 

She has earned many accolades in her dance career, including many regional and national awards, including competing at the national level at the NDA in Daytona, FL. 

It has been an ongoing dream to open her dance studio. 

She is honored to instill the love of dancing to the children of this community.
