Meet Mackenzie, the delightful and nurturing starting level dance teacher at Chrissy Raes Dance Academy, where she sparks joy and creativity in the youngest dancers. 

Mackenzie stands as a nurturing guide, introducing the magic of movement to the youngest dancers at CRDA. Her commitment to creating a positive and enriching experience for these budding artists makes her an integral part of the studio, where little dancers take their first steps into the enchanting world of dance under Mackenzie's gentle and encouraging guidance.

With a specialty in early childhood development, Mercy expertly guides the movement and growth of our youngest dancers, particularly those aged 3 to 5. Her approach is designed to lay a strong foundation for their journey into the world of rhythm, creativity, and self-expression. By incorporating fun and engaging activities, Mercy ensures that each child not only learns the basics of dance but also develops a love for the art form. Her nurturing and patient demeanor helps instill confidence in our little dancers, setting them on a path to explore their full potential in dance.

Jorge Velez is a passionate dance instructor currently pursuing his Dance Major with an Education Certification at Texas State University. With nearly seven years of dance experience, Jorge’s background includes extensive training in various styles and a strong foundation in drill team, where he honed his performance and technique throughout high school.

At Chrissy Rae’s Dance Academy, Jorge brings his enthusiasm and expertise to teaching Beginner Ballet, Jazz Competition, and Mommy & Me classes. His goal is to inspire young dancers, build confidence, and create a fun, supportive learning environment. He is excited to share his love of dance and help students grow both technically and artistically!
