Dancers should wear a slicked-back high ponytail for a polished and uniform look on stage. Makeup should include a brown smoky eye and a bold red lip to ensure their features stand out under the stage lights! ✨
About The Theme.
This year, we're taking it back to the early 2000s, celebrating the music and moves that defined the decade! Each dance will be choreographed to a hit song from the era, bringing the nostalgia and energy of the early 2000s to life on stage. Every recreational class will have the exciting opportunity to learn a specially choreographed dance that they will perform at the recital, showcasing their hard work and passion. To complete the experience, each dance will feature a unique costume, adding flair and style to every performance. Arrival & Prep Details
Dancers must arrive at Davenport High School by 1:30 PM fully ready, with hair, makeup, and costume completebefore arrival to ensure a smooth start. Doors will open at 2:00 PM for audience seating, so be prepared to shine on stage! ✨
Getting Ready For Recital
To ensure a smooth and exciting performance, we have Picture Week, Dress Rehearsal Week, and Recital Info Weekfrom June 2-5—don’t miss these important preparations! During this week, dancers will be taking recital pictures in class, which means they must arrive with full costume, hair, and makeup done before class. Stay on track with all details to make sure your dancer is recital-ready! ✨
